Spot Removals

Removals are spells that removes permanents from the battlefield. There are several categories: spot removals which handle a single card and mass removals which manage several. Blasts are the subject of a detailed study.

The most played anti-creature of the format. This card has a very low cost and can destroy a large majority of creatures, including generals.

This planeswalker is very impactful because it alone sums up many tools that removes a creature as well as filters the deck while inflicting direct damage on the opponent.

One of the few permanent neutralization cards with Darksteel Mutation. This method to handle an opposing general can be optimal because there are few cards that destroy a terrain, Ghost Quarter is one of those rare cards.
